In 2019, the Dragon Chapter Praise Chastity Archway was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Anhui Province.

It is the central urban area of Huizhou District, functioning as the political, economic, and cultural hub of the district. Additionally, it has been approved by the provincial government as an important industrial base, vegetable production base, and goods distribution center within the planned development of Huangshan City.
