Located on Back Street in Yansi Town, spanning the Ying River alongside Tongji Bridge, it is also known as Hongfu Bridge. The Ying River flows into Fengle Creek just past this point, and the "Twin Streams Scenery" of Yansi Town refers to this area. Originally, there was a wooden bridge here. In the fifth year of the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty (1469), a local resident named Zheng Rongyan built stone piers and erected three arches, bridging them with large timbers. The bridge was about 18 meters long and 2.8 meters wide, featuring five covered walkway rooms with Buddhist shrines, and stone steps at both ends for access. It was destroyed by fire during the Kangxi era but was temporarily restored with timber. In the tenth year of the Yongzheng era (1732), a clan descendant named Zheng Weihan rebuilt it to its original design. In the early years of the Republic of China (1920), Fang De renovated it again, replacing the bridge deck with stone. A small house on the eastern end of the bridge, called "Xiangji," served as a radio station for the New Fourth Army during the Anti-Japanese War. General Ye Ting often conversed intimately with locals under the bridge's covered walkway, while Marshal Chen Yi frequently played Go and chatted with Yansi’s open-minded citizens there, spreading anti-Japanese ideas.
