Deji Bridge

Commonly known as Zhaitang Bridge or Widow’s Bridge, it also spans the Yingxi Stream and serves as a key route between Nanshanxia and Shangjie. Constructed in the first year of the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty (1506) by Lady Hu, the wife of local resident Wang Shian, the bridge features a single arch, is built from red-purple stone, measures 15 meters in length and 4 meters in width, with an arch height of about 4 meters. Lady Hu, who became a widow at a young age, was known for her filial piety to her parents-in-law. She used her life savings to build the bridge as an act of charity, earning praise from the local community. This bridge remains well-preserved to this day.
