Wanshengji

Wanshengji was originally located in Xixi South Village but was relocated to "Qingyuan" in 2000. Facing northeast, it is a complex of buildings that combines shop space at the front with residential quarters at the back. The structure spans 10.64 meters in width and extends 22.46 meters in depth, with the rear courtyard ridge reaching a height of 9.65 meters. It covers a total area of 238.91 square meters. The front section is a two-story building arranged around a three-sided courtyard, where the original shop floor was located on the ground level. The rear section is a four-sided courtyard, situated adjacent to the front courtyard. The main wooden framework and interior decorations of the residence fully reflect the architectural style of Huizhou-style buildings from the Qing Dynasty, making it highly significant for the study of the development of Huizhou merchants and their architectural styles.
