Bright Summit Top

Bright Summit Top is one of the main peaks of Huangshan. Located in the central part of Huangshan, it stands at an elevation of 1,860 meters, making it the second highest peak of the mountain. Along with Tiandu Peak and Lotus Peak, it is known as one of the Three Main Peaks of Huangshan. The summit is flat and expansive, offering spectacular views of the Eastern Sea scenery and the Western Sea peaks. From here, you can take in a panoramic view of peaks such as Refining Furnace Peak, Tiandu Peak, Lotus Peak, Jade Screen Peak, and Aoyu Peak. During the Ming Dynasty, Monk Pumen built the Dabeiyuan Temple on the summit, and today, the Huangshan Meteorological Station stands on its ruins. The name "Bright Summit Top" comes from its open, sunlit terrain that enjoys long hours of sunlight. Due to its flat and open terrain, it is also one of the best spots on Huangshan to watch the sunrise and view the sea of clouds.

　If you want to watch the sunrise from Bright Summit Top, it is recommended to stay in the area around Beihai Hotel. Check the next day’s sunrise time in advance, book a wake-up call service at the hotel, and allow about one hour to hike from Beihai Hotel to Bright Summit Top.
