Introduction Located at the foot of Diezhang Peak, Songgu An was originally named Songgu Thatched Cottage. It was first built during the Baoyou era of the Song Dynasty by Taoist Zhang Yinpu, also known as Songgu Taoist. During the Xuande era of the Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt and converted from a Taoist hermitage into a Buddhist temple, and renamed Songgu An.
