In the early days, a wooden plank was used as a bridge to ferry visitors across. This pine grows on the edge of the valley between the two peaks. Later, the wooden bridge was replaced with a stone one, named “Fairy Crossing Bridge,” but visitors still held onto this pine’s branches when crossing the bridge. The Welcoming Pine stands 4 meters tall, with a trunk diameter of 30.5 centimeters, a crown spread of 3.5 meters × 5.5 meters, and an estimated age of around 500 years.
