Pagoda Peak

Pagoda Peak is a cultural tourism attraction.

Introduction Pagoda Peak is located in the northern part of Huangshan, between Shuxiang Peak and Wangxian Peak. When hiking up from Songgu Hermitage toward Lion Forest, there is a winding path that circles around the peak, but it is not climbable. Nearby, there are unique rock formations such as "Immortal Viewing the List" and "Immortal Paving the Road." Pagoda Peak is one of the 36 smaller peaks, with an elevation of 1,314 meters. The peak stands firmly and solidly, resembling a majestic and steady main pagoda. Especially after half of the mountain rock on one side eroded and collapsed at some unknown time in the past, the resemblance has become even more striking. When sea of clouds forms, the tip of this “pagoda” emerges, looking like a lighthouse in the ocean.
