Pine Forest Peak

Introduction Pine Forest Peak is the lower station of the Taiping Cable Car. It connects to Danxia Peak to the northeast and is close to Paiyun Pavilion. It is one of the 36 major peaks, with an elevation of 1,310 meters. The peak is covered entirely by pine forests, with no other types of trees mixed in, and its summit remains hidden from view—hence the name “Pine Forest Peak.” Below the peak lies Pine Forest Stream and Huanglian Source, an important production area for Huangshan’s coptis root.  Anhui, Huangshan City…
