The Fairy Playing the Zither

Introduction At the left peak in front of Paiyun Pavilion in the West Sea, there is a uniquely shaped rock resembling a human figure, closely adjacent to which lies another rock shaped like a zither. The human-shaped rock strikingly resembles a young girl, while the zither-shaped rock looks like a phoenix zither lying flat. The formation appears as if the girl is sitting beside the zither, leaning slightly forward, intently playing the strings. Hence it is named “The Fairy Playing the Zither,” commonly known as “The Fairy Strumming the Zither.”
