Introduction: Yunmen Peak is located in the southwestern part of Huangshan Mountain, to the southwest of the West Sea Grand Canyon and south of Shizhu Peak. It neighbors Yunji Peak and Fuyi Peak. As one of the 36 major peaks, it stands at an elevation of 1,645 meters. The cliffs of this peak are split apart like a gate, standing opposite each other and towering into the sky, with only clouds able to pass through the gap—hence the name "Yunmen Peak" (Cloud Gate Peak). Due to the two cliffs facing each other like a pair of scissors, it is also known as "Scissors Peak." Below the peak lie Yunmen Yuan (Cloud Gate Spring) and Yunmen Stream, where water flows out from the "gate" and heads southeast.
