Purple Stone Peak

Introduction: Purple Stone Peak is situated in the southern part of Huangshan Mountain, near Qingluan Peak, and stands opposite Peach Blossom Peak across a creek. As one of the 36 major peaks, it rises 1,122 meters above sea level. Its entire body consists of purple granite that sparkles under the sun, giving it the name “Purple Stone Peak.” Beneath the peak flows Tangquan Stream, where hot spring bathhouses and a hot spring swimming pool can be found, as well as structures such as Huangshan Hotel and the Workers' Sanatorium. The mountain foothills are abundant with rare flowers and trees, filling the air with fragrance that drifts for miles during spring. Golden snub-nosed monkeys are often seen in groups on the mountain, foraging for wild fruits or playing together without shying away from visitors.
