Boat Mound Site
The Boat Mound Site is a cultural tourism attraction.
The Boat Mound Site is located approximately 200 meters northwest of Huoli Village, Huoli Town, Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province. It lies to the east of Gaocun Village, to the northwest adjacent to the Mapu Highway, and to the south next to Xiba. Shaped like a boat, it derives its name from this resemblance. The site rises 4–5 meters above the ground, covering a total area of 4,900 square meters, and is a typical platform-type site. Collected pottery shards feature impressed patterns such as mat and meander designs. Additionally, there is one broken pottery stem cup fragment, 10 centimeters in height. The surface soil is grayish-brown, and today the site is planted with rapeseed and vegetables. The site remains well-preserved.
