Hu's Ancestral Hall in Hushan is located in Hushan Village, Gaoshi Town, Wangjiang County, Anqing City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

In 2019, Hu's Ancestral Hall in Hushan was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Anhui Province.

Gaoshi Town: Situated by the scenic Jiaosai Lake and Wuchang Lake in Wangjiang County, Gaoshi Town covers a total area of 122 square kilometers with a population of over 80,000. It administers 16 administrative villages. Provincial Highway Anjiu (Anqing to Jiujiang) and the county’s main artery, Wegan Road (the ring road around the county), intersect in a “cross” pattern right through the town center. The town is 20 kilometers from the county seat and only 46 kilometers from downtown Anqing. Its “three vertical and six horizontal” transportation network highlights its unparalleled locational advantages and favorable environment for development.
