The Dacheng Hall of Wangjiang Confucius Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

The Dacheng Hall of Wangjiang Confucius Temple is located at No. 1 Wenmiao Lane, Huilong West Road, Huayang Town, Wangjiang County, Anqing City.

The Wangjiang Confucius Temple was originally built during the Song Dynasty but was repeatedly destroyed in wars during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. The existing structure was rebuilt in the 24th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1685). The temple complex originally included an array of ancient buildings: at the front was the Jimen (Rank Gate), with the Land God Temple to its east and the Wang Youxue Memorial Hall to its west, and the Lingxing Gate at the very front. On the left and right sides of the temple were the eastern and western side halls, while behind the Dacheng Hall stood the Qisheng Shrine; the eastern side featured the Ritual Gate and the western the Righteous Path, with the Minglun Hall at the rear. The main surviving structure is the Dacheng Hall, a wooden, hip-and-gable-roofed ancient building with double eaves and upturned corners, decorated with brackets and stone column bases. Over 10 meters high and covering an area of more than 270 square meters, the hall has 24 large pillars forming a square structure, encircled by corridors, featuring double-layered eaves and upturned corners with iron chimes hanging overhead. It currently houses the Wangjiang County Museum and stands as an exquisite example of Qing Dynasty architecture, boasting extremely high cultural heritage value. It was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit in 1982.

Protected Area: A 5-meter perimeter around the eaves of the temple.

Construction Control Zone: A 10-meter buffer zone beyond the protected area.
