Jiangwu Shendun Site

The Jiangwu Shendun Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anqing City.

The Jiangwu Shendun Site is located in Taoling Village, Taici Town, Wangjiang County, dating back to the Neolithic Age through the Shang and Zhou dynasties.

On October 23, 2012, the Jiangwu Shendun Site was designated as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Taoling Village: Taoling Village was formed through the merger of the former Taoling and Qixing villages, covering a controlled area of 4.6 square kilometers. It administers 35 villager groups, with 1,208 households and a population of 4,775. The village has 2,900 mu of arable land, 800 mu of water resources, 400 mu of mountainous land, four independent polders, two joint-village polders, and two small (Type II) reservoirs. The Village Party General Branch currently has 99 party members, organized into three branches, with six members on the Village “Two Committees” and two family planning officers.
