The Residence of Chen Guangyuan is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Residence of Chen Guangyuan is located at No. 48 Dali Road, Heping District. It is a building with a grand gateway, high steps, and a European modern architectural style. The walls are made of yellow sulfur-colored bricks, and the most eye-catching feature is the second floor that juts out beyond the third. The second floor has a large terrace, and the roof of the third floor features an octagonal pavilion. The architectural style is uniquely creative, exuding dignity and grandeur with a touch of luxury and magnificence. This former residence is currently used as a kindergarten by the Health Bureau, and it is listed as an immovable cultural relic in Tianjin that has not yet been designated as a protected cultural heritage site.

Chen Guangyuan (1872–1939), styled Xiufeng, was from Wuqing, Zhili (now part of Tianjin). Among the Beiyang warlords residing in Tianjin’s foreign concessions, he was one of the foremost millionaires. At the age of 19, he entered the Beiyang Military Academy in Tianjin. After graduation, he held successive positions including officer in the Wuyi Right Army, head of the General Affairs Office of the Beiyang Standing Army's Military and Political Department, infantry commander, and commander of the Eighth Brigade under the Fourth Division of the Beiyang Army. In 1918, after Feng Guozhang became acting president, Chen was appointed military governor of Jiangxi. Together with Li Chun, the military governor of Jiangsu, and Wang Zhan yuan, the military governor of Hubei, they were known as the "Three Governors of the Yangtze," and he was a key figure among the Zhili clique warlords.
