The former residence of Jin Bangping is a cultural tourism attraction.

The former residence of Jin Bangping is located at No. 114 Chongqing Road, Heping District. The building is a two-story Western-style structure made of brick and wood, featuring exposed brick walls. It has an arched balcony in the middle of the second floor, a multi-sloped tile roof with skylights, and stands within its own enclosed courtyard.

Jin Bangping (1881–1946), also known as Boping or Yacui, was from Machuan Village, Yuting Town, Yi County. In the 25th year of the Guangxu reign (1899), he went to study in Japan and graduated from Waseda University. After returning to China, he successively served as a reviser at the Hanlin Academy, secretary to Yuan Shikai who was the Viceroy of Zhili and Minister of Beiyang, a councilor at the Training Bureau, an advisory official at the Constitutional Compilation Bureau, and secretary-general of the Senate. In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), he was appointed head of the Preparatory Office of the Bank of China. In the third year of the Republic, he served as an advisory official in the Political Affairs Hall under Yuan Shikai’s cabinet.
