Era: Three Kingdoms to Jin
The Fenghuangshan Kiln Site Cluster is located north of Dashanxiao’wu Village, Shangpu Town, Shangyu City. It consists of three parts: the Niguposhan, Fenghuangshan, and Qianshan kiln sites. Among them, the Fenghuangshan and Niguposhan kiln sites are situated to the north of Dashan, while the Qianshan kiln site lies to the south. The three kiln sites are about 1 kilometer apart in a straight line from north to south. The total distribution area of the cultural layers is 24,081.63 square meters. This includes 12,395.14 square meters at the Niguposhan Kiln Site, 4,499.43 square meters at the Fenghuangshan Kiln Site, and 7,187.06 square meters at the Qianshan Kiln Site. The three kiln sites are geographically adjacent. Aside from slight differences in production scale and primary product focus, they share consistent craftsmanship styles and decorative techniques. All date back to the Three Kingdoms period up to the Western Jin Dynasty. In May 2013, they were designated as part of the seventh group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units by the State Council.
Dashanxiao’wu Village: Dashanxiao’wu Village in Shangpu Town is located in the southwestern part of Shangyu City, about 15 kilometers from the city center. It lies east of the Shangsan Expressway and National Highway 104, and west of Sifeng Mountain. The village boasts beautiful scenery and a simple, rustic charm, and is widely known as a green, well-off village. It covers an area of 2 square kilometers, with 645 farming households and a population of 2,004. The arable land area is 1,660 mu, and the forested area spans 4,704 mu (including a bayberry base of 550 mu and tea plantations of 150 mu). The village is home to 30 private enterprises.
