Hangzhou Bay Seaflower Field
The Hangzhou Bay Seaflower Field scenic area is the pioneering project of Binhai New Town and the “moonlight” project of Shangyu’s tourism. The area features seasonal flower seas and coastal wetlands as its main landscapes, centered around pastoral ecological scenery and creative experiential agriculture. It showcases large-scale land art installations such as Colorful Fields and the Seaflower Field. The “No. 1 in China” Duck Mother, with thousands of ducklings, invites you to explore the flower sea—a spectacular and dazzling sight. The ponds are full, the rain has stopped, and big brother is taking me to catch loaches. Experience the wild fun that young Lu Xun, Zhou Zuoren, and Runtu once had on this local tidal flat.
The first phase of the project centers on coastal wetlands and seasonal flower seas as its main landscapes, focusing on pastoral ecological scenery and creative experiential agriculture. Built to 4A-level scenic area standards, it includes five functional zones: the Colorful Forest Zone, the Colorful Fields Zone, the Ten-Mile Gallery Zone, the Seaflower Field Zone, and the Comprehensive Service Center. Over 20 leisure and tourism sub-projects have been developed, including the Agronomy Museum, Eco-Agriculture Demonstration Base, Ten-Mile Gallery, Botanical Maze, Grass Skiing Field, and Water Cottage, offering an in-depth pastoral ecological experience and creating a high-end leisure agrarian lifestyle industry chain.
