Lushan is a village under Xiaguan Town in Shangyu City. Nearly every household in the village bears the surname Zhang, hence it is also known as Zhangjialing. In the past, it remained unknown due to its high mountain location and inaccessible mountain roads. The area was poor and underdeveloped, lacking running water and mobile signal coverage. Villagers had to work in cities to support their families. Although... around 2004 or 2005, mobile signal coverage was finally established, and the muddy mountain paths that turned to mud whenever it rained were officially upgraded to concrete roads. However, the fate of those left behind in the village still couldn't be changed.

This village does not possess particularly unique natural scenery; it is just a peaceful mountain village nestled among ordinary hills. Even the ancient buildings in the village have been demolished or torn down by villagers due to a lack of cultural awareness, leaving very few remaining.

Location of the Attraction

Lushan Village, Shangyu City, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province
