Excavations were carried out in 1977, and now the kiln is covered by a protective shelter. The dragon kiln is 13 meters long and 2.124 meters wide, well-preserved, and consists of a firebox, kiln bed, and flues. The firebox is semi-circular, while the kiln bed resembles a narrow corridor with a sandy base, still retaining a large number of kiln tools. There are six exhaust holes at the rear of the kiln, primarily used to fire bowls, plates, jars, pots, and other vessels. The kiln body is wider at the front and narrower at the back, providing tangible evidence for the study of ancient ceramics and the evolution history of dragon kilns.

The Anshan Longyao is the only scientifically excavated celadon kiln site from the Three Kingdoms period to date and holds high scientific value for studying the porcelain production of that time.
