Longtou Jump Beach: Located in Tian’ao Central Village, Liuhang Town. This beach, approximately 200 meters from the shoreline where the water is about 2 meters deep, is an ideal site for setting up a seaside bathing area and a great place for marine sports activities. When the tide recedes, you can engage in wild, recreational activities such as beachcombing and building sand sculptures on the muddy sandy beach.

Longtou Jump, legend has it, is the place where the Dragon King of the East Sea made his first leap, hence the name. It is a tourist area that combines ancient trees with a seaside bathing beach.

The Longtou Jump tourist area is truly a magnificent scenic highlight. Its simple yet stunning island scenery captivates visitors. The scenic zone blends golden sands, ancient trees, and azure seas. The beach is covered with continuous stretches of golden sand, like a long ribbon of shimmering gold, exuding warmth and beauty at every turn. Simply bare your feet, step onto the fine, soft sand, and face the salty sea breeze—you’ll truly feel it’s one of life’s greatest pleasures. Look around: the woods are filled with towering ancient trees, like giant green umbrellas stretching overhead, shading the land. The forest is equipped with swings, hammocks, stone benches, and stone tables...

The Longtou Jump Holiday Beach consists of two parts: the seaside bathing area and the sand hill that serves as a breakwater. The well-preserved ancient trees on the sand hill represent the most intact cluster of ancient trees in the Zhoushan Archipelago, and such ancient tree clusters atop sandy dunes are rare even nationwide. These tree species include Chinese hackberry, lacebark pine, and Chinese tulip tree, all over two to three hundred years old. A wooden boardwalk winds through the woods, surrounded by scattered wild lilies, daffodils, and various unnamed flowers.

On the left side of the beach stands a spot called “Eagle’s Beak,” named for its eagle-like shape. Legend has it that in ancient times, there was a pool of clear water within the jungle of Eagle’s Beak, and at the bottom of this crystal-clear pool lived a green dragon in cultivation. Whenever the island suffered from famine, the dragon would bring rain to save the people. To commemorate the little green dragon, locals named the nearby village Longtou Jump—hence the origin of the name “Longtou Jump.” Even today, a ceremony to worship the Dragon God is held here on the third day of the sixth lunar month, showing the high regard in which the dragon is held by the local people.
