Qingbang Island

Qingbang Island, located to the west of Miaozihu Island, is slightly elongated in shape, stretching from north to south. It is 2.45 kilometers long and 0.8 kilometers wide, with a land area of 1.41 square kilometers, a tidal flat area of 2.37 square kilometers, and a coastline of 10.5 kilometers. The highest point, Huangpanglaoshan Mountain, stands at an elevation of 131.6 meters. The island is lush with grass and blooming flowers, presenting a verdant scene in spring and summer. Moreover, the surrounding seawater takes on an indigo hue, and locals refer to coastal areas as "bang" (浜), hence the name Qingbang Island.

The island remains largely undeveloped, with very few guesthouses, so it sees relatively few visitors. However, the most famous attraction here is the "Sea-based Potala Palace" landscape, and there’s also the "Xifeng Bay Beach," which offers the best conditions among the three islands. It's the perfect spot for swimming—none of the other two islands have beaches suitable for that.

Transportation

In Zhoushan, you can take bus routes 3, 6, 7, 9, 13, 15, 20, or 29 and get off at Banshengdong Station. Then, walk a few minutes to reach Shenjiamen Banshengdong Wharf, where you can take a ferry to Miaozihu Island.

Shenjiamen – Miaozihu

Ferries depart from Shenjiamen daily at 8:30 am, with the return trip at 11:00 am.

Lower cabin: 100 RMB, middle cabin: 130 RMB, upper cabin: 150 RMB.

Miaozihu – Qingbang – Dongfushan

Ferries depart daily at 7:30 am and 11:00 am from Miaozihu, and at 8:30 am and 12:00 pm from Dongfushan, with a stop at Qingbang en route.

One-way fare: Miaozihu to Qingbang – 20 RMB.
