Scenic Introduction

Daqing Mountain is situated at the southern end of Zhujiajian Island and is the highest peak on the island. It faces the sea on three sides, offering a perfect vantage point for bay views. Without the usual crowds, it’s a great choice if you’re looking to enjoy the beach and sea views in solitude and experience the fishing village culture. Daqing Mountain is highly recommended.

The currently open attractions in the scenic area include Qiansha, Lisha, Lisha Ecological Park, Qingsha, Niutou Mountain, Daqing Peak, and Shaoji Bay Fishing Village. Enter the scenic area from the entrance near Qiansha, and after walking about 2 kilometers along the hiking trail, you can take a free shuttle bus that runs between the various attractions. In addition, private cars with fewer than 9 seats can also drive into the scenic area and explore the mountain roads by car.

Qiansha is a relatively pristine beach that gives off a romantic vibe. In contrast, Lisha, unlike Qiansha, is bordered by a grove of ancient trees, giving it a more delicate and refined charm. Lisha Ecological Park in the woods features an observation deck for sea views and relaxation, as well as leisure activities such as log climbing and bamboo forest mazes. The beach here is suitable for wading, but swimming in the sea is not allowed.

The road junction near Lisha leads left to Niutou Mountain and right along the mountain road up to Daqing Peak. From Niutou Mountain, you can overlook the bay scenery of "ten miles of golden sand, five interconnected beaches." However, the mountains are often shrouded in mist, making it a great spot for photography on clear days, or for a surreal feeling of walking in a fairyland when the mist rolls in. Daqing Peak is the highest point on Zhujiajian Island and offers an excellent view of the entire Daqing Mountain area. Cars can drive all the way to near the summit. The roads in the scenic area are in good condition, and you can enjoy stunning bay views along the way.

A mountain road from Niutou Mountain leads directly down to Shaoji Bay Fishing Village at the foot of the mountain. Shaoji Bay is a natural bay, and the fishing village at the foot of the mountain was one of the earliest settlements of coastal residents on Zhujiajian Island. Today, the village is dotted with hundreds of “black-tiled, white-walled” fishing homes. There are farmhouse accommodations available, and you can stroll through the village, sample local seafood dishes, though access to other attractions is no longer permitted after the scenic area's operating hours.

Special Notes

Private vehicles with fewer than 9 seats can drive into the scenic area for self-guided tours or use the free scenic shuttle buses, which run on the hour. Route: Lisha Parking Lot – Niutou Mountain – Shaoji Bay Fishing Village – Daqing Peak – Lisha Parking Lot.
