Zhujiajian Dongsha

Category: Tourist Attractions 👁 100 views
Compared to the liveliness of Nansha, Dongsha is quieter because it remains undeveloped and has water safety hazards, so swimming is not recommended here. The beach and sea are just as nice as those at Nansha, but there are more people camping in tents here. It's definitely a great spot in Zhujiajian to watch the sunrise and allows you to avoid the crowds that you'd find at Nansha...

Zhujiajian Dongsha

Compared to the hustle and bustle of Nansha, Dongsha offers a quieter experience since it is still undeveloped and has certain water safety risks, making swimming here inadvisable. The beach and seawater quality are similar to those at Nansha, but it’s much more popular for setting up tents and camping. It’s absolutely one of the best places in Zhujiajian to watch the sunrise and helps you steer clear of the crowded scenes at Nansha, making it an ideal venue for relaxation, leisure, and gatherings. Here, having a night barbecue under the stars or strolling along the shore at dawn are both wonderful options.

Dongsha is part of the Shili Golden Sands scenic area in Zhujiajian, which boasts the largest group of beaches in East China. This includes nine beaches such as Qingsha, Lisha, Qiansha, Nansha, and Dongsha, stretching over 5 kilometers in total, offering extremely spectacular scenery. Many people camp here — it's safe and you can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves.
