The Taohua Island Taohuayu Scenic Area (Taohua Island Taohuazhai Leisure Village) is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Taohuayu Scenic Area is located on the eastern coast of Taohua Island and is the area with the most beautiful natural ecological environment on the island. Here, the peculiar rocks stand tall and vividly resemble various forms. From the mountaintop, you can enjoy distant sea views and watch the sunrise in the morning.

Major attractions include: Taohuazhai, the East Sea Divine Pearl, Snap Finger Peak, the Divine Eagle Stone, the Sea Turtle Patrolling the Shore, and the Blushing Goddess of Mercy.

Taohuazhai: Located at the center of the Taohuayu Scenic Area, covering an area of approximately 2 square kilometers, this place is shaded by lush green trees, with meandering streams and quaint bridges, offering a tranquil environment that is perfect for leisure and rest. The apricot-yellow flags, red lanterns, and heroic tunes make you feel as if you’ve stepped into a world of wuxia (martial arts) culture; the Medicine Master’s Hermitage, Brother Jing’s Residence, and Rong’er Tea House allow you to deeply appreciate the essence of "love," "fate," and "righteousness" from Jin Yong’s novels.

Snap Finger Peak: Shaped like a thumb popping out from a palm, or like a sword stuck upside down into the seaside, it is situated in a place described as “crafted by the gods.” The solitary peak stands tall, with cliffs and precipices shaped as if carved by knives and axes, offering cool breezes.

From the inscriptions in front of Snap Finger Peak, you can see that over 600 years ago, the Yuan Dynasty literary figure Wu Lai praised the stunning beauty of the peculiar peaks and rocks around Snap Finger Peak when he visited. Snap Finger Peak is also the place where Huang Yaoshi, a character in Jin Yong’s famous novel "The Legend of the Condor Heroes," is described as having mastered his unique martial arts skills.
