Baiyun An at Dongji Island

Located at the summit of Dongfu Mountain, the cave entrance is trumpet-shaped, with steep cliffs beneath it. Wisps of mist can be seen gently drifting out from the cave mouth, forming another spectacular sight of the polar landscape. Descending along the cliff by the cave entrance, you’ll find a temple called Baiyun Temple, which is associated with a beautiful legend about the competition between Guanyin of the South Sea and the Lady of Baiyun—truly enchanting and captivating.

Transportation

In Zhoushan, take bus routes 3, 6, 7, 9, 13, 15, 20, or 29 to Banshengdong Station, then walk a few minutes to reach the Shenjiamen Banshengdong Wharf. From there, take a ferry to Miaozihu Island.

Shenjiamen – Miaozihu

Ferries depart from Shenjiamen daily at 8:30 AM, with the return trip at 11:00 AM.

Lower cabin: 100 RMB, middle cabin: 130 RMB, upper cabin: 150 RMB. The journey takes about 2 hours.

Miaozihu – Qingbang – Dongfushan: Ferries depart daily at 7:30 and 11:00 from Miaozihu, and at 8:30 and 12:00 from Dongfushan, with a stop at Qingbang en route.

One-way fare: Miaozihu to Qingbang 20 RMB, Miaozihu to Dongfushan 30 RMB.

After arriving at Dongfushan Island, simply walk to reach the site.
