The Lisbon Maru Shipwreck Site: In 1942, a ship carrying 2,000 British prisoners of war sailed from Hong Kong to Japan. When it reached the open waters off Zhoushan, it was torpedoed and sank. At that time, fishermen from Qingbang Island made strenuous rescue efforts.

Transportation

In Zhoushan, you can take bus routes 3, 6, 7, 9, 13, 15, 20, or 29 to Banshengdong Station, then walk a few minutes to reach Shenjiamen Banshengdong Wharf. From there, take a ferry to Miaozihu Island.

Shenjiamen – Miaozihu

Ferries depart from Shenjiamen daily at 8:30 AM, with the return trip at 11:00 AM.

Lower cabin: 100 RMB, middle cabin: 130 RMB, upper cabin: 150 RMB

Miaozihu – Qingbang – Dongfushan: Ferries depart daily at 7:30 and 11:00 from Miaozihu, and at 8:30 and 12:00 from Dongfushan, with a stop at Qingbang en route.
