Anqi Alchemy Cave

The Anqi Alchemy Cave is located at an altitude of 482 meters on Anqi Peak. Legend has it that the Taoist immortal Anqi once practiced alchemy here, hence the name. Carvings on the stone walls near the cave include inscriptions such as "The Foremost Mountain of the Sea," "Spring Meditation Sanctuary," and "On Baiyun Mountain, immortals and buddhas dwell, while disciples come to worship." Beside the cave lies a clear pool with ice-cold water that never dries up year-round, known as "holy water." It is said that Anqi used this water for alchemy, which was believed to have miraculous healing properties.
