The Exhibition Hall of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Advance Detachment is located in Shanmen Town, Pingyang County. The hall faces south and has a total area of 680 square meters. To the west is the former site of the Fujian-Zhejiang Border Anti-Japanese Salvation Cadre School, to the southwest is the Integrity Education Base at the former site of the Southern Zhejiang (Pingyang) Anti-Japanese Base Area, and to the east is the teaching building of the Zhejiang Pingyang Cadre School.

This exhibition hall focuses on the military history of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Advance Detachment. Drawing on the history of the Southern Zhejiang Revolutionary Base Area, it combines photo exhibitions, physical displays, and multimedia technology to comprehensively showcase the detachment’s journey through different historical periods.

Shanmen Town: Located in the western part of Pingyang, Shanmen Town is 44 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Shuitou Town to the east, Xiaokeng and Huaixi Townships to the west, faces Nan yan Town across a stream to the south, and adjoins Fengwo Town to the north. Provincial Highway Ping (Pingyang)–Wen (Wencheng) runs through the town.
