Wendu Water City is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Wendu Water City, also known as Hongfu · Wendu Water City, is located 20 kilometers north of the Forbidden City along Beijing’s dragon vein, nestled against Beijing’s mother river — the Wenyu River to the north, just six kilometers south of the North Fifth Ring Road, with the Litang Expressway and Badaling Expressway flanking its east and west sides. It is the closest five-star comprehensive international hotel to both downtown Beijing and the Olympic Village. Wendu Water City integrates large-scale water entertainment, hot spring therapy, sightseeing tourism, and business conferences, aiming to become a green leisure tourism destination highlighted by "water," supported by the ecological tourism of the Wenyu River, and covering a total area of nearly 10,000 acres.

　Hongfu · Wendu Water City is situated in Zhenggezhuang Village, Beiqijia Town, Changping District — an area rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage, embraced by mountains and close to water, with scenery that seems naturally formed. According to the "Draft History of Qing · Biography of Princes," this was once the residence of the Prince of Li during the Yongzheng era of the Qing Dynasty. The "Xiaoting Sequel · Official Residences in the Capital" records: "The Residence of the Prince of Li is located outside Deshengmen at Zhengjiazhuang, commonly known as Pingxi Mansion." A winding seven-kilometer-long artificial water system surrounds the vast 10,000-acre Water City community. Standing under the archway at the southern end of the Water City and looking northward along Hongfu Avenue, you can see the Yanshan Mountain ridges under the blue sky and white clouds resembling the head of the Buddha — serene and auspicious, radiating blessings in all directions. Wendu Water City boasts profound historical culture and rich land and water resources. It also has abundant geothermal energy resources. Five hot spring wells have been developed so far, reaching depths of nearly 3,000 meters, with water temperatures reaching up to 79°C, rich in various minerals, and a daily water output of nearly 10,000 cubic meters.

The Hongfu · Wendu Water City project was overall planned by the American Lino (International) Company, professionally designed by Australia’s SDG Design (Group) Company, and invested in and constructed by Beijing Hongfu Group. Its design concept is forward-thinking, the layout ingenious, and the integration of overall functions seamless — undoubtedly making it a holiday-type international hotel that combines large-scale water entertainment, hot spring therapy, sightseeing tourism, and business conferences.

The highlights of the first phase include the Enthusiastic Water Space, Hot Spring Wellness Club, International Hotel, Royal Mansion Courtyard (Presidential Suite), Eco Hot Springs, courtyard complex, Abalone Island Business District, Ancient Culture Street, Sports Activity Center, and Golf Driving Range. The second phase will focus on the Wenyu River ecological tourism and leisure zone, creating various scenic attractions to form a green leisure tourism destination spanning nearly 10,000 acres.
