Beijing Jundu Mountain Ski Resort, located in the renowned Xiaotangshan Hot Spring Scenic Resort in Changping, is the closest ski resort to downtown (within 30+ kilometers). The resort has a snowmaking area of 150,000 square meters, along with over 6,000 square meters of comprehensive service facilities, making it one of the largest ski resorts in the Beijing area. Its beginner, intermediate, and advanced slopes, built strictly according to international standards and tailored to the physical characteristics of the Chinese population, follow the mountain contours, stretching a total length of over 4,000 meters. Two nearly 1,000-meter intermediate slopes featuring 20 different gradient variations allow skiers of beginner to intermediate levels to fully enjoy performing various skiing maneuvers; the advanced slope features a vertical drop of 247 meters, a length of 1,200 meters, and a maximum gradient of 40%, making it an ideal slope for testing the skills of advanced skiers.

The resort is equipped with a double chairlift with a total hourly capacity of 3,500 passengers, 8 dedicated tow devices for the slopes, and 3,100 sets of imported ski equipment, with a daily reception capacity of 6,000 to 10,000 visitors. A newly added high-power professional lighting system allows night skiers to enjoy skiing under a warm orange glow. Participants in the Fischer Jundu Mountain Ski School can enjoy the thrill of using world-renowned Fischer carving skis at the price of renting regular skis. The school’s standardized teaching system, dedicated teaching slopes and practice runs, as well as the promise to “teach you how to ski in two hours,” reflect its commitment to ensuring high-quality learning experiences. CuiCun Town: CuiCun Town is located in the eastern part of Changping District, about 10 kilometers from the county town, covering a total area of 60 square kilometers. It borders Baishan Town to the west and lies against the Cuihua Mountain, a branch of Jundu Mountain, making it a typical semi-mountainous town. The town governs 12 village committees. Located at the foot of Cuihua Mountain, the town slopes from northwest to southeast, forming a rectangular shape that stretches from north to south. Notable peaks in the northern mountainous area include Cuihua Mountain, Yuzhu Mountain, and Macun Mountain. In the southwest, there is an isolated east-west oriented hill approximately 4.5 kilometers long, known as Jiuli Mountain.
