Beidou Cave

Beidou Cave

Located in the Lingfeng Scenic Area. Originally called Fuhu Cave, it was named after the Fuhu Peak directly facing its entrance. It was later renamed to its current name due to Taoist worship of the Big Dipper Goddess.

This cave is located to the left of Guanyin Cave. The rock face above the cave resembles a large bat, and looking down from the cave entrance, there is also a rock formation that looks like a bat ascending. There is a horizontal stone on the cave ceiling that resembles a green dragon entering the cave, as well as water marks that look like a white dragon soaring. The cave is shallow and spacious, with ample sunlight. Inside the cave stands the Lingxiao Hall, a serene Taoist temple built across four levels. Other scenic features include the “Blue Stone Sleeping Dragon,” “Golden Bird and Jade Rabbit,” and “Upside-down Frog.”
