Dragon Nose Cave

Located in the Lingyan Scenic Area. Also known as Dragon Nose Niche, it is called the "Yanshan Grotto of Stone Inscriptions" and features over 80 cliff inscriptions from various dynasties, making it a place visited by scholars and poets. It lies beneath Chailong Peak on the right side of Lingyan Temple. Visitors can hike up the winding stone path behind the temple or along the footpath nearby.

The cave entrance faces south, directly toward Jade Maiden Peak. It is about 10 meters deep and wide, and around 100 meters high. At the top where the dark purple walls meet, a bronze-colored horizontal stone is embedded, resembling dragon scales, looking very much like a giant dragon coiling downward. As it nears the bottom of the cave, the dragon appears to be hanging down, one claw gripping the ground, as if guarding a pearl in its jaw.
