Nengren Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Nengren Temple is located by the Jinxi Rock in the Da Longqiu Scenic Area and is the largest among the eighteen ancient temples of Yandang Mountain.

Nengren Temple was first built in the second year of the Xianping era of the Northern Song Dynasty (999 AD). After the Southern Song Dynasty, its influence spread across the country, and at its height, it had 300 monks and received a thousand worshippers daily, making it one of the 30 most famous temples in the nation.

The temple houses a large iron cauldron, standing 1.38 meters high and 2.4 meters in diameter, weighing 18,500 kilograms. It was cast in 1092 (the seventh year of the Yuanyou era of the Northern Song Dynasty), hence the temple is also known as the Great Cauldron Temple. Though the temple has suffered damage from warfare and gradually declined over time, the spiritual legacy passed down by eminent monks throughout the dynasties has endowed Nengren Temple with rich historical and cultural significance, making it an important cultural landmark on Yandang Mountain.
