Swallowtail Waterfall

Located within the Dalongqiu Scenic Area. Commonly known as the "Split-Crotch Waterfall," it lies to the west of Huoyan Mountain and northeast of Nengren Temple. The Jinxi Stream flows around the West Dragon Gate, strikes the rocks, splits, and cascades down, resembling a swallow’s tail—hence the name of this waterfall.

Below the waterfall lies a pool called Xiaying Pool. The pool water is emerald green, covering an area of over one mu. Inside the pool, there is a huge rock shaped like a large iron wok, leaning sideways against the bottom, faintly visible. Whenever the sunset glow shines upon it, the surface of the pool becomes vividly beautiful, from which the pool gets its name.

Because there is a Donglong Pool in the Jinzhu Gully downstream of this pool, it is also referred to as Xilong Pool. In recent years, a cement platform has been built beside the pool, equipped with an awning umbrella, providing a spot for visitors to dive and rest. There are several small boats in the pool, and rowing on the water offers a uniquely tranquil experience. However, the facilities still await further improvement.
