The cave ceiling features scenic spots such as Dragon Rock, Lion Rock, Carp Rock, and Jade Rabbit Gazing at the Moon, along with a spring that cascades down, clear and sweet in taste. Inside the cave, there are three wooden halls and several living quarters and kitchens. The halls house statues of the Child-Giving Guanyin, Sakyamuni Buddha, the God of Wealth, and the Star of Literature.

Two hundred years ago, Shi Yuanfu did not mention any structures inside the cave in his “Yandang Mountain Records.” It was not until the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty that the “Fairy Cave Temple” was first built. The Fairy Cave Temple has long since fallen into ruin, and the current structures inside the cave were built in 1989.
