San Shui Waterfall

Located northeast of Yandang Mountain Villa Village, it belongs to the Xianshengmen Scenic Area. Surrounded by rolling mountains, the area features towering cliffs that curve in an arc.

San Shui Waterfall is famed for its graceful scattering of water. It cascades down the steep cliff face, splashes against rocks midstream, then rockets back into the air, breaking into droplets and transforming into a misty spray. When sunlight shines on the waterfall, it displays a dazzling array of colors, appearing exceptionally enchanting. When the wind blows, it dances with the breeze—sometimes drifting gently over the treetops, sometimes plunging straight into the emerald pool. During the rainy season around spring’s turn to summer, the waterfall becomes a wide ribbon of water suspended in the air, with the flow resembling a Milky Way pouring downward. The thunderous roar of the waterfall shakes heaven and earth.

Below the waterfall lies San Shui Pool, a large and deep body of water with shimmering surfaces. On the cliff face of San Shui Rock, there is a cave. By climbing to the cave entrance and looking out at the waterfall, it appears like a fluttering beaded curtain. In the southeast corner of the cave, there is a “Stone Skylight,” shaped like a pavilion.
