Jade Rabbit Peak

Located in the Yanhu Scenic Area. It sits on the eastern mountainside of Shimen. Also known as Crouching Tiger Peak or Gazing Cat Peak. This peak resembles a rabbit or a cat, lying prone to the west, with a black back and white belly, and its head raised toward the southwest. Qing Dynasty poet He Shixun wrote a poem titled "Gazing Cat Peak," expressing his unique impression: “Phoenixes and cranes linger in thorny thickets, yet hens and dogs all ascend to heaven without reason; even the cat dreams of soaring aloft, raising its head, gazing blankly only at the sky.”
