Yun Guan

Yun Guan is located at the foot of Mount Wu. Ascending more than 500 meters through the Stone Gate leads you into a narrow and perilous path with over 160 stone steps flanked by steep cliffs on both sides.

At the top, a stone beam forms an arched gateway that is 30 meters high and only 4 meters wide, historically referred to as the "Stone Gate Tower." A poet of old wrote, “Yandang Mountain spans a hundred miles all around — the stone gate is heaven-sent, needing no gate to bar the way.” The lintel of the cave entrance bears a cliff inscription reading “Southeastern Barrier.”

The mountain here features unique formations and a dramatic landscape. The rock summit is entwined with vines, dotted with lush shrubs, and flanked by scenic spots such as Heavenly General Peak, Toad Peak, and Sea-Viewing Lion.
