Toad Pit

From the ticket booth, follow the stone steps up to Yusan Gangtou, where you can go either left or right. Heading left, you’ll come across a pit.

This pit faces south and is located within the scenic area, between Wanxiang Zhang and Ziting Zhang. It gets its name from a massive rock on the left side of the pit entrance. However, this toad-shaped rock lies crouched at the edge of the pit and is not easily visible. You’ll only get a clear view when you’re about 20 meters from the cave entrance or climb up to the Ten Halls and look out the window.
