Nan Yan Ancient Well

Nan Yan Ancient Well is located southeast of Nan Yan Town, now within the premises of Nan Yan Winery. It was discovered in 1978. The wellhead originally had a large bronze cover. The well is about 5 meters deep with a diameter of 0.6 meters. It never dries up throughout the year, and the water is clear, cool, and sweet to the taste.

According to research, this ancient well was dug by the Wang family between 1102–1106 (during the Chongning era of the Northern Song Dynasty), making it nearly a thousand years old. The winery now uses the water from this ancient well to brew liquor, which is named "Nan Yan Song Well Liquor."
