Longshan Park

Longshan Park is a mountain park located in the city center of Rui’an, covering a total area of 20.3 hectares. The Longshan Pagoda within the park was originally built during the Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty, boasting a history of over 600 years and serving as a landmark of Rui’an City.

The park’s construction began in 1991. It now features well-connected mountain paths, lush greenery, and main scenic structures including the north entrance gate designed in the Ming and Qing architectural style, a poetry stele corridor, a teahouse, the Pagoda-Viewing Pavilion, the Conceptualization Pavilion, and the “May 9th” Directive Memorial Pavilion, among others. Major recreational activities include bumper cars, sightseeing vehicles, sled rides, and the Dragon Cave Exhibition.

Longshan Temple is one of the largest Buddhist sites in Rui’an. It has been praised as “Longshan, often envied as picturesque, where woodcutters’ songs and shepherds’ chants know no end.”

You can take a bus or a tricycle from Rui’an Bus Station to reach the scenic area.
