Che'ao Village Revolutionary History Memorial Room

The Che'ao Village Revolutionary History Memorial Room is a classic red tourism attraction.

Che'ao Village in Beibaixiang Town, Yueqing City, is a veteran revolutionary base with a long history of revolutionary struggle and a glorious revolutionary tradition. In 1927, Cai Hongsheng and Yu Shouyao from the village joined the Communist Party of China. In 1938, the Che'ao Village Party Branch was established, with Cai Hongsheng as its secretary. During the revolutionary war years, a total of 50 party members joined the organization in Che'ao Village, 12 of whom participated in guerrilla forces, and 2 sacrificed their precious lives for the revolution. They made active contributions to Yueqing’s revolutionary cause.

The Che'ao Village Revolutionary History Memorial Room is located in Che'ao Village, Beibaixiang Town, Yueqing City. To commemorate the martyrs and educate future generations, in 2006 the village converted the third floor of the Yile Building, a senior activity center, into the Che'ao Village Revolutionary History Memorial Room. The memorial room covers an area of about 50 square meters and displays exhibits on the village’s revolutionary struggle history as well as brief biographies of early party members.

The Che'ao Village Revolutionary History Memorial Room is a patriotic education base in Yueqing City.
