The Nantang Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism destination.

Nantang is a veteran revolutionary base. In May 1938, Qiu Qinghua, a leader of the Communist Party organization in Yueqing, went to Liyushan Village in Nantang Town, where he recruited 16 activists including Jin Zhehai and Huang Yongzhu into the Party. He organized and mobilized the masses to carry out the anti-Japanese salvation movement and established the Communist Party branch in Liyushan Village. After the establishment of the village branch, it continued to expand to the surrounding areas, recruiting more Party members, strengthening the revolutionary forces, spreading revolutionary ideas, and mobilizing the people to engage in the revolutionary struggle. During the harsh battles, 12 comrades from the village, including Jin Zhehai, sacrificed their precious lives for the revolutionary cause.

The Nantang Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall is located in Liyushan Village, Nantang Town, Yueqing City, surrounded by lush trees and set in a beautiful, quiet, and solemn environment. The memorial was built and opened in 1987, covering an area of approximately 200 square meters. It houses an exhibition room displaying the portraits and life stories of the 12 martyrs. On the top floor of the memorial is a pavilion named "Chenglong Pavilion," and the gate couplet reads: “Their noble spirit lives on through the ages, fulfilling modernization in honor of their loyalty.”

The Nantang Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall is a patriotic education base in Yueqing City.
