The Ancient Bridges of Yueqing are listed as Cultural Relics Protection Units of Zhejiang Province.

The Ancient Bridges of Yueqing are located in Baishi Subdistrict, Beibaixiang Town, Shifan Subdistrict, and Hongqiao Town of Yueqing City, dating back to the Song Dynasty.

Nestled between mountains and sea, Yueqing is home to numerous ancient bridges that span its intricate network of rivers. These bridges vary in style—some simple and unadorned, others stately and elegant, or simply pleasing to the eye. According to the 1821 *Yueqing County Annals* from the Qing Dynasty, there were a total of 271 such bridges. Today, four of them are protected as provincial-level cultural relics: Zhaozhen Bridge, Hehu Bridge, Ciji Bridge, and Yaoxi Bridge. These bridges bridge history, connecting past and present.

On January 13, 2017, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province announced them as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Baishi Subdistrict: Located at the foot of Zhongyandang Mountain and by the shores of Yueqing Bay, Baishi is a historic trading town and the cradle of the revolution in Yueqing. The town covers a total area of 47.9 square kilometers, encompassing 25 administrative villages, 41 natural villages, 1 residential committee, and a population of 27,200. In 1998, its industrial output value reached 650 million yuan, with per capita income exceeding 5,000 yuan. It is a key industrial satellite town of Wenzhou, a well-off town of Wenzhou, an all-around excellent town of Wenzhou, a provincially recognized strong sports town, and one of the faster-developing towns in Yueqing.
