Wuyi is known as the "City of Hot Springs." It boasts abundant hot spring resources, with a daily output of over 4,000 tons and a year-round temperature of 41-51°C, earning it the nickname "Huaqing Pool of Central Zhejiang."

According to the *Wuyi County Annals*, the hot springs here are neutral hydrogen sulfide thermal waters that meet national standards. The water is clear and transparent, rich in elements such as metasilicic acid, strontium, potassium, iron, and fluorine. It has multiple therapeutic uses, and soaking in the springs is beneficial for treating and maintaining chronic conditions such as skin diseases, muscle strain, and various types of arthritis.

The resort area is home to multiple hot spring hotels and resorts that offer hot spring bathing, accommodation, and dining.

The most famous is the "Tang Dynasty-style Open-Air Hot Spring," which features nearly thirty different open-air hot spring options, including West Lake Pool, Qiantang Pool, Rice Wine Pool, Famous Flower Bath, Ligustrum Pool, and Aloe Vera Pool. Guests enjoying the open-air hot springs can also experience special baths such as herbal baths and stone slab baths. The lounge offers a variety of complimentary drinks, cigarettes, pastries, fruits, and DVD services.

The Qingshuiwan Hot Spring Resort opened in 2002, located about 7 kilometers from downtown Wuyi. The resort is surrounded by mountains on three sides and was designed and built to the standards of a three-star tourist hotel.

The resort also has two tennis courts, one basketball court, a fishing center, and a barbecue area.

The Mingzhao Hot Spring International Hotel, built to four-star standards, is located in downtown Wuyi, adjacent to Wuyi Railway Station, and is the tallest building in the county.

The hotel channels hot spring water directly to guest rooms, allowing guests to enjoy Wuyi’s hot springs without leaving their rooms.

The Wuyi Hot Spring Bath Bar is located 4 kilometers south of downtown Wuyi, on the way to the Guodong Ancient Ecological Village Scenic Area.

The hot spring bath bar has four open-air pools and two indoor pools, separated by gender, as well as co-ed private mini-rooms. Admission & Opening Hours

The Tang Dynasty-style Open-Air Hot Spring ticket costs 128 RMB and includes access to various special baths such as herbal baths and stone slab baths. The lounge provides complimentary drinks, cigarettes, pastries, fruits, and DVD services. Opening hours: 9:00 AM – late night

The Qingshuiwan Hot Spring Resort ticket costs 198 RMB and includes access to both indoor (gender-separated) and open-air hot springs. Opening hours: 11:00 AM – late night

The Mingzhao Hot Spring ticket costs 118 RMB. Opening hours: 12:00 PM – late night

Transportation

The Tang Dynasty-style Open-Air Hot Spring is located at 77 Huancheng North Road, Wuyi County. A taxi from Wuyi Railway Station costs around 10 RMB.

The Mingzhao Hot Spring International Hotel is located at 8 Mingzhao Road, Wuyi County, right next to Wuyi Railway Station.

The Qingshuiwan Hot Spring Resort is located on the way to Guodong, about 7 kilometers from downtown Wuyi.
