Hot Spring Dragon Pool
The Hot Spring Dragon Pool Provincial Scenic Area is located in the central part of Wuyi County. It mainly consists of five scenic zones: Xili Hot Spring, Dragon Pool, Yuankou, Liuxiulong, and Dalaikou, featuring over 70 scenic spots covering an area of 51 square kilometers. Centered around the hot spring, the scenic area is renowned for its striking peaks, secluded valleys, cliffs, waterfalls, crystal-clear pools, and tranquil lakes. With lush forests and warm springs, peculiar rocks and steep cliffs, deep valleys and mysterious pools, it is a beautiful, wild, serene, and ever-changing landscape. The scenery is truly captivating. Xili Hot Spring discharges 2,500 tons of water daily, with temperatures reaching up to 44°C. The mineral-rich water contains various trace elements beneficial to the human body and is effective in treating arthritis and skin diseases. The scenic area also houses numerous cultural relics and historic sites.
