Located in Shanggan Tower Village, Xili Township. In 1935, a company of the Red Army Advance Detachment passed through Shanggan Tower Village and painted over 70 slogans on the interior and exterior walls of the Deng Deyou Courtyard using red and black ink. The slogans included phrases such as “Joining the Red Army is the greatest honor, the Communist Party is the party of the proletariat” and “Down with the Kuomintang that betrays national interests!, Oppose the Kuomintang giving Manchuria, Mongolia, Rehe, and the Three Eastern Provinces to Japanese imperialism!” among others. The signature reads “Red Army Propaganda” (short for Propaganda Department of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Advance Detachment).
